Point and Laugh Wednesday

This week it’s Susan‘s turn to host the One-Layer Wednesday Challenge and it’s a good one! I’m humming “Walking in winter wonderland” as I type this.

However, you are not to point and laugh at Susan.  Or her cards.  Or any of the cards posted for the challenge.

The pointing and laughing takes place here.

Below is my second attempt at a Shabby Chic card.  It’s maybe a little better than the last one (you can check the last one out here).
I love, love, love this style, but I make a mess of it every time I try.  But I’m going to keep on trying.

Feel free to leave constructive criticism!

  • No pointing and laughing here! Your card is adorable. The balance is much better this time. And the papers you chose do a lot of the heavy-lifting, style-wise.

  • Hey… I loved your card. It turned out so nicely. I am not pointing and laughing. I would never do that especially after I look back at some of my attemps. TFS Pauline

  • I’m not going to point and laugh — I really like it! Now I REALLY can’t do shabby chic, but that’s another story…

  • As if any of the nice folks in this nice crafting community would ever point and laugh. Like you, I admire the shabby chic style but don’t seem to have a bit of it coursing through my veins. I think your card is a great casified version of shabby chic.

  • thats a beautiful card, why would anyone want to point and laugh – love it!
