Hello kittens!
I think I might have been a little tricksy again this week. This may be a bit of a toughie. Or not.
This week, the challenge is to use two (and ONLY two) image stamps on your card. That’s right, just two. And no sentiment. You may not use each stamp more than once.
You may also use the following AND ONLY the following: heat embossing and/or markers to colour your stamped images. That means no bling, no ribbon, no hippopotamuses.
Did you see that bit about the hippopotamuses? Good, that means you were paying attention

1. A one-layer card is defined as a single piece of cardstock folded in half.
2. Make a one-layer card using two and only two image stamps. (The flower stamp I used on the second card has multiple flowers on it, but it is just one wood block stamp). You may heat emboss and/or colour your images with markers. You may not use any additional embellishments. Yes, I am mean.
3. Please share your creation by posting your card online and then using Inlinkz below to link to it.
4. Please make sure you are linking directly to the relevant post – not just to your blog.
5. Most important of all…HAVE FUN!
6. If I have confused you, please feel free to leave a comment telling me so, or email me for clarification
The magical and mysterious linky machine will become operational at 11:59 pm EST tonight. You have until next Tuesday at 11:59 pm EST to enter your card.

Loved this challenge Jennifer, thanks! Wow, those Copics do jump out with colour in your second card don’t they?

Mmmm, tricky! Will have to put my thinking cap on for this one.
This is, indeed, VERY tricky! I’m intrigued ( that doesn’t mean I know what to make)!! Love to see what everyone comes up with
Just love your card! I had my doubts about this, but you put together such a great combination . . . the stamps and colours.
Wow this was tricky x
[...] Jennifer at Styles Ink described her current One Layer Wednesday challenge as a bit tricksy. I tend to agree. She was very strict, limiting us to two stamps and neither could be a sentiment. She also limited us to heat embossing or colouring with markers! [...]
I loved this challenge!

Great challenge, thanks Jennifer! Love your samples, the bright flowers on the second one look so cheery!
Hi!
I tried, for the first time, to make the challenge at OLW.
I was hard to leave it so empty, I’m not used to do it.
But at least I did it and I HAD FUN! The text is in Swedish.
Charlotta / La Vikinga
OK, when I submitted my picture and started to look at everyone else’s
cards, I realize that there’s no text on any of them – and reading the
conditions I see that there is a frase: “no sentiments” – I speak Spanish
and thoght “sentiment” was the same as “sentimiento” – ie “feeling” so I
didn’t relate that with a text…
So when you organizers at OLW reas this just take my card away…
I’ll participate next time!

Ooh…..so sweet. Thank you!
