Hello, hello!
I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and are rested and rarin’ to go.
I’ve had so little time in my craft room over the last month and I was thrilled to finally get some time to stamp.
I was however, out of practice and more than just a little full of cookies and chocolate. It took me a while to get back into the groove.
So. The challenge. A toughie (I think).
Make a card using ONLY ONE image stamp and a maximum of two ink colours. You may use the same image repeatedly, but you may only use the one image. You may also use one sentiment stamp if you choose. Oh, and no embellishments. None. Nada.
I know sometimes some of you feel the challenge is too hard. I often push myself to do challenges that really stump me. I feel that it
really helps me grow as a stamper and a card-maker. I have learned so much from doing challenges even when I haven’t been happy with how my cards turned out. So, even if you feel it’s too hard, give it a go, you just might surprise yourself!

2. Make a one-layer card using only one image stamp and no more than two ink colours. You may also use a sentiment stamp.
You may NOT use embellishments of any kind. (Embossing, paper piercing and distressing are ok.)
3. Please share your creation by posting your card online and then using Inlinkz below to link to it.
4. Please make sure you are linking directly to the relevant post – not just to your blog.
5. Most important of all…HAVE FUN!
6. If I have confused you, please feel free to leave a comment telling me so, or email me for clarification
You have until next Tuesday at 11:59 pm EDT to submit your creations.

Thanks for the challenge! I love them!

love the challenge and both images, especially the mirrored one.
LOVE this, not least because my post today already meets the challenge. What a fortuitous coincidence!
A great challenge, love it. Just one question: are we allowed to colour the image(s)?
Really had to put my thinking cap on for this one….great challenge!
Petra,
You may colour the images, but the total number of colours appearing on the card should not be more than two.
Hope that makes sense
This was fun. I think it would be a lot harder for me to use lots of layers, ribbons, embellishments, and the like. I like the simple stuff.
Thanks for the inspiration, Jennifer. This is the first time I entered OLW challenges. Hopefully my one-layer cards will improve with time and practice!

What a great challenge Jennifer. I was rather stumped at first but once I found the right stamp, my card really worked. I love your samples and everyone’s entries are really great! Thanks!
Love this challenge and all the samples! Thanks Jen!
OK ……all fixed up now. So sorry!!!
Thanks for a wonderful challenge!! This worked out wonderfully for making some badly needed thank you notes.
Thanks for this super fun challenge!
Jennifer – thanks for your comment on my OLW card – this has been a fun challenge.
