Ah, it feels good to be back to one of my favourite card challenges after devoting all my waking hours to cards/projects for Dare to Get Dirty 2010 over at Splitcoaststampers.
I think it’s also time that I admit to myself that I am, in fact, a Clean and Simple stamper/cardmaker. Oh, yes, I would LOVE to be able to make Shabby Chic cards a la Melissa Phillips but it’s just not something that comes naturally to me. I blame having lived in a loft (see below for pics) for several years
*Edited to say: sadly, we no longer live in the loft, we sold it, moved to the ‘burbs, had a baby, decided suburban living wasn’t for us, sold our house, moved back to the city and now rent an awesome (but not loft-like) apartment. Sorry for the confusion.
Anyway, on to the cards. These came together super quickly – also not second nature to me – my style may be “Clean and Simple” but it’s not “Clean and Simple and Only Takes a Minute to Come Up with an Idea”.
Annoyingly, the loft pics appear in two places. I’m not sure why. I could ask tech-guy, but he’s cooking dinner. Please pretend that this post is just perfect in every way. Heh.

You made me smile this morning, your cards are perfect and you are soo lucky to be living in that lovely loft:) x
OMG!! Love your loft. I have always love them. And your tech guy also cooks dinner?? You are a lucky lady!! My guy is an intermittent handy man who only cooks hot dogs LOL!! Ahh, but he is a great fan of my cards so that is enough to keep me madly in love
Have a great day!!
I always love your entry to susan’s challenges!! This one is no different … these are adorable!! and I love your loft too!! no wonder you are a true CAS stamper!! I am like you, I’d love to be the next Melissa Philips but I just can’t pull it off like she does!! I just look and drool at her stuff!! LOL!!
I love the cards! Simple…and oh so cute!
