CPS #54 – Oh Baby

I really like making baby cards so this was a particularly fun challenge. I think the proportions are just slightly off, but overall, I’m pretty happy with this card.

I’m also feeling pretty clever about coming up with a way to do the scallops. The card base is 5×5 inches and the scallops were made using my Cricut.

Cartridge used: Celebrations
Element used: Number 5
Feature used: Blackout
Cut size: 5.5 inches

I simply cut out two of the above and overlapped them, then covered the join with a 5×5 inch piece of cardstock.

The cardstock is Bazzill, the patterned paper is Frances Meyer, the boat was made using my Cricut and the New Arrivals cartridge and the stamp is from the For a Friend hostess set from Stampin’ Up.

  • Gorgeous scallop card! Love the little boat and that paper! I’m jealous of that paper. I looked after you left in case you had accidentally left one behind… LOL

I’m gonna keep an eye out for some more of that paper. Do you want some if I find it?

  • I actually did come look at your card when you posted it, but my computer wouldn’t let me post a comment- it kept freezing up. We will see if this one works!

Your card is really super cute…I love my Cricut and couldn’t scrap without it…so I understand how you feel! Great job with the sketch this week!
